I knew him as a business man.
He was dressing a black suit and a white shirt. As an accessory a red tie. Far from knowing that before my eyes it was a great artist. I really mean a big artist. Photographer and painter.
Years later I rediscovered him, connected to the art world, more precisely as a partner in an art gallery in Foz Velha in OPorto. He invited me to participate in the first group exhibition of photographers in this beautiful space, that the recession has remembered to close.

Nothing more, nothing less, to participate in an international exhibition - The Iraqi II International Exhibition of Photography.
This exhibition aims to be a way to promote humanitarian work and share cultures among the peoples of Earth. Until March 13 it can be seen in the Iraqi Kurdistan capital - Sulaymaniyah. In June it will go to the Baghdad Museum, already rebuilt.
This exhibition is a project of the NGO "Human Rights Larsa" with support from the Ministry of Culture of Iraq and has the participation of 10 Portuguese photographers.

Conheci-o como comercial.

Anos mais tarde reencontrei-o, ligado ao mundo das artes, mais precisamente como um dos sócios de uma galeria de arte na Foz Velha no Porto. Convidou-me para participar na primeira exposição colectiva de fotografos desse bonito espaço, que a recessão se lembrou de fechar.
Foi assim que fiquei a saber que ele era um artista. Um grande artista.
Hoje foi merecidamente ele o convidado.
Nada mais, nada menos, para participar de uma exposição internacional - A II Exposição Internacional Iraquiana de Fotografia.
