The tranquil waters of Cecebres ‘ dam are covered with a thick fog.
The faint sunlight of December was trying to pass the dense fog.
The dawn begin slowly, We glimpse the silhouettes of forests and small islands of birds floating in the waters.
We walked the bridge that links both banks.
Cold tightens and is time to proceed the journey to the beautiful city of Corunna, where the lofty Tower of Hercules, the only Roman lighthouse still in existence, fascinates us by its peculiar architecture.
The city is built on green cliffs that descend to the sea.
From the viewpoint of Mount St. Peter, we see a horizon where the blue sky merges with the blue sea.
We passed through small villages of stone to get to the end of the earth - Finisterra. Ceremonial site dedicated to the star king - The Sun. Place of pilgrimage where walking boots are burned and where memorials stand on the cold sea that bathes this Galician coast.

As águas
tranquilas da barragem de Cecebres, estão cobertas de uma névoa espessa.
Os ténues raios solares de Dezembro tentam
passar a densa neblina.
O amanhecer acontece ao ritmo lento do tempo,
vislumbrando-se as silhuetas dos bosques e das pequenas ilhas de pássaros que
flutuam nas águas.
Percorremos a ponte que une ambas as margens.
O frio aperta e prosseguimos viagem rumo à
bela cidade da Corunha, onde a altiva Torre de Hércules, único farol da época
romana ainda existente, nos fascina pela sua peculiar arquitectura.
A cidade está construída sobre verdes
falésias que descem até ao mar.
Do miradouro do Monte S. Pedro, vislumbramos
um horizonte onde o azul do céu se funde com o azul do mar.
Atravessamos pequenas aldeias de pedra para
chegarmos ao fim da terra – Finisterra. Local único de cerimoniais dedicados ao
astro rei – O Sol. Lugar de peregrinação onde se queimam botas de tanto caminhar
e onde memoriais se erguem sobre o frio mar que banha esta costa Galega.
